Laura Zinger

Director/Executive Producer

Zinger produced, directed, and scripted the documentary Proceed and Be Bold! which was screened at more than 30 universities and featured at six film festivals worldwide including the San Francisco Documentary Film Festival and St. John’s Women’s International Film Festival.

After a long stint in the tech industry working to bring vibrating shoes, podcasts, legal videography, and AI educational courses to market, she’s back to making documentaries again.

Zinger likes to throw back a good old fashioned.

Jonathan Fong

Executive Producer

Jonathan was forged from passionate flames of 90s and 200s independent cinema at Muse Films, where he spent over a decade helping produce some of the most canonical indie films like Spring Breakers and ????. Jonathan became his own independent agent in 2024, and is currently developing his own slate of indie films at the helm of his new venture, Chinatown Video.

Jonathan prefers a briny gin martini.

Audrey Ngo

Producer

After working as a makeup artist for 10 years, Audrey switched gears, and went back to school. She took a personality test at her university’s career center, and the results showed that journalism was a good fit, so she did that.

Inspired by a few episodes of This American Life, she decided to download Audacity, bought a mic, and started interviewing people in her car. Since then, she's worked on podcasts for Dateline, HBO and Los Angeles Times, just to name a few.

Her favorite drink is anything with Mezcal.

Helen Kim is the brain behind The Think Farm. Born in Seoul and rooted in LA, her transcultural perspective shapes how she designs. With a fine art background, her work is grounded in curiosity and a genuine interest in people and their stories.

She designed this website and will be helping us recreate the look and feel of God’s bars in the cinematic realm.

She’s a sucker for a gin and tonic with double what you think is too much lime.

Rene Rivas is a writer, director, and cinematographer based in Arizona. He’s also the founder, owner, and operator of Rene Rivas Productions, LLC.

His favorite film is Back to the Future.

Lance Thorn

Lance Thorn is a Tucson-based photographer and cinematographer with a perspective shaped by twenty years behind the lens and a foundational background in the fine arts. His work often explores the space between formal composition and the everyday realities of life in the American West. Having lived for years within various rural communities, Lance has developed a preference for the slow story, an approach rooted in patience and a genuine respect for the resilience found in quieter, more isolated places. He aims to create documentary work that is technically intentional yet remains honest to the lived experience of his subjects.
