Is God on board?

Jim “God” Anderson is fully on board with the documentary and has enthusiastically participated in the making of the film. He has welcomed us into his world, shared his stories, and given us access to the people, places, and history behind I’ll Ruin Your Life.

That said, I’ll Ruin Your Life is an independent documentary. Being on board with the film doesn’t mean Jim gets to dictate the story. We’re committed to making a film that is honest, entertaining, and true to the story we’re telling.

When will this film be completed?

We’re aiming for the end of 2027 if we can raise enough funding.

If I decide to support the film financially, where does my money go?

Your support goes directly toward finishing and sharing I’ll Ruin Your Life, including post-production, music and licensing, festival submissions, distribution, premiere events, and all the other wonderfully expensive things required to get a documentary into the world.

As a supporter, when will I get my tickets/perks?

If you give us $80K today, the premiere will happen much sooner. Right now, the premiere and branding party dates are still TBD.

Premiere tickets and other digital perks will be delivered by email.

What if I can’t attend the premiere?

Life happens. God understands. We’ll send you a poster signed by God himself.

Also, if you’re unable to attend the premiere and/or branding party, your tickets can be given to someone else, so bequeath them to your friends, your family, your favorite ex, or whoever you think needs to see this movie.

If you’re unable to attend and truly can’t find anyone to take your tickets, reach out to us and we’ll figure something out. We want your support to feel worthwhile, even if you can’t make it to the party.
